For Indecent

"Farmingdale, as a young Yiddish theatre actress struggling with English, is especially touching... the 'rain scene' is at last performed, transcending terrible circumstance with its other-worldly beauty."
-- Judy Newmark, Judy Act Two
(formerly of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

"Paul Cereghino and Zoe Farmingdale are vivacious and engaging as the theatrical troupe's ingenues.  Farmingdale and Karel are particularly touching and fully committed to each other as the lesbians in the Asch script.  Their scene in the pouring rain... is one of the most stunning on-stage expressions of love I have ever witnessed."
                                                                             -- Tina Farmer, KDHX
"The casting is especially strong, with an impressive, cohesive ensemble... Standout roles and performances include Farmingdale as the younger version of Asch's wife Madje and also the various actresses who play the young Rifkele in God of Vengance."
                                                                             --Michelle Kenyon, Snoop's Theatre Thoughts
"Zoe Farmingdale is effective as both Asch's wife and as Rifkele, young daughter of the brothel owner... This is truly an emsemble effort in the best sense... an intellectual and emotional achievement of the highest rank."
                                                                             -- Mark Bretz, Ladue News
"Zoe Farmingdale and Katie Karel are wonderfully tender in their roles... It's mesmerizing.  The Max and Louie production gives it all they've got and does it proud... Not easy.  Really worthwhile."
-- Ann Pollack, St. Louis Eats and Drinks
"Zoe Farmingdale and Katie Karel play the young actresses in God of Vengance, and their characters build toward a tender love scene together... a perpetual state of transcendence."
                                                                             -- Richard Green, Talkin' Broadway
"Thrilling and poignant... the play with music is wonderfully acted... Vogel's characters and situations come vividly to life.  The excellent ensemble includes seven actors gracefully taking on multiple roles."
-- Calvin Wilson, St. Louis Post-Dispatch
"The acting in Max & Louie's production is truly breathtaking, with moments so poignant and real one actually forgets they're sitting in a theatre looking on.  It is a beautiful piece of work."
                                                                             -- Tanya Seale, BroadwayWorld

For Peter, Who?
Nominee: Best Supporting Performer, NYMF 2018

"In Peter Who? Parker struggles to get the girl, [but] does not pick up when another girl likes him (the hilarious Zoe Farmingale as Betty Brant.)"
                                                                             -- Diandra from diandrareviewsitall.com

For COFFEE and BISCUIT

"The true jewel of the show, and what gives it a beating heart, is lead actress Zoe Farmingdale.  Nora is made achingly real by Farmingdale's endless range of facial expressions, dancer-like movements and poses, and perfect tonal choices.  The visuals provide an invaluable foundation, but it's Farmingdale who makes us feel every layered emotion that Nora does.  After catching over 60 FringeNYC shows this year, Farmingdale's work holds up as one of the three finest dramatic performances I've seen at the Festival...
...If you're a casting director, snap up this brilliant multitalented performer ASAP."
                                                                                 --Hy Bender, HyReviews.com

Nora, excellently portrayed by Zoe Farmingdale, squeaks and chirps like the little sparrow and squirrel her husband deems her. With a broad and appealing smile, twinkling eyes, and mannered posture, she embodies the exaggerated expectations of the American housewife beautifully. The actress has also created a lovely arc, gradually grounding her performance to reality as Nora realizes the hypocrisy and selfishness of the society she lives in.
                                                                                --Dave Osmundsen, StageBuddy

"A talented cast [including] standout Zoe Farmingdale...makes for a clever, thought-provoking critique of gender politics."                                                                   --Shani R. Friedman, Time Out New York

Zoe Farmingdale gives a tour de force performance, leading the pack as Nora.  Farmingdale brings an airy, innocent quality to the housewife [in this] genius new telling of the Ibsen classic A Doll's House."
--Michael Block, Theatre in the Now

"Nora [is] played with passion and care by Zoe Farmingdale."
                                                                                --Sarah Weber, Theatre is Easy

For Red Light Winter

"Zoe Farmingdale's performance as Christina is a slow burn.  Entering the scene as a sultry, sexualized commodity, Farmingdale peels away layers over the course of the two acts to reveal something far more nuanced, unsettled and skittish than what first appears. In many ways, the story is deceptively Christina's and the actor subtly charts a course that is devastating."
                                                                             -- Jacques Lamarre, Broadwayworld.com

For Cabaret

"[Cabaret is] a terrific production, best I've seen at the Playhouse.  It's dark, disturbing, and decadent-- with a wicked sense of playfulness and tragedy too...passion is spilling all over the stage, especially by the libidinous chorus of the Kit Kat Club."
                                                                            --Frank Rizzo, The Hartford Courant

Additional Press

"Zoe Farmingdale seemed the most emotionally connected in a very natural and real way to her characters."
--ImprovisationNews.com on SNL Fantasy Camp/Live From the PIT, It's Saturday Night!

"After the play, a comedian and musician named Zoe Farmingdale took the stage for the ZoeShow, a twenty minute set of stand-up and songs inspired by the night’s plays... It was a hilarious coda, and the songs will be stuck in your head on the train ride home..."

--Patrick Shand's Writerly Writings, patrickshand.blogspot.com on The Zoeshow

Funny and quirky has always been a charming combo, traits...which ZOE FARMINGDALE has successfully entertained in an array of mediums. Notably will be her appearance at the LA Shorts Fest 2012 in “This is Caroline“....ZOE is all about dreaming up lively characters, even fusing a succession of dance styles into her brand of comedy.  She could just be the newest sweetheart in what could be a prosperous year ahead."
                                                                                             --Actress and Life Obsession, gornoblonde.wordpress.com

"Farmingdale is especially expressive, and her interpretations of the choreography can’t help but catch the audience’s eyes."
